-= Installation Instructions =-
To install this map plugin you must be running MythII (duh). Now that we have that out of the way, you could only be looking at this file if you've opened the archive it came in. So now the only thing left to do is extract (unpack, unzip, whatever) the file called "Mud River Market 1.0" into the "plugins" folder found within your MythII folder you created when you installed the game. Fire up a netgame and you'll then see the map in your map list. Happy hunting!

-= Gameplay Overview =-
Mud River Market takes place after a seige on the small town just outside Tallow. Crators mark where the onslaught took place, and the roads are damaged and ruined. The town sits on a peninsela between two rivers. One river is choked with mud as a result of poor argicultural runoff control and is slowly tainting the clear emerald waters downstream. That'll teach those podunk hillbilly peasants to let their pigs "go" whereever they want!

On a more technical side, the map is setup for two team play. Games include everything except for Scavenger Hunt, Hunting, and KotH. The map was really designed for Terries and Flag Rally, and because we couldn't decide on how many flags for each, we've given you two extra flags on Heroic difficulty and up. Two additional balls are available in Captures as well. The time of year is fall, and the weather is mixed sunshine with occassional showers. It may rain, or it might not, so you take your chances with units picks. The map's units are a mix of classic light melee and artilary, which stygs thrown in to balance things out.

We had originally planned on releasing a couple meshes with this map, but ended up not doing so for various reasons. One reason being Amos hates MythII dark units, and the map wasn't designed for their speed and power. Secondly, we couldn't think of a balanced combination of stronger light units (was gonna be Light+). And thirdly, we just wanted to get our freshman map making effort out there for people to play. The feedback we get will be worth the time we spent. If all goes well, we'll design up some more maps in our spare time based on what we learn from this. Please let us know what you think of the map!

-= Pre-release information and stuff like that =-
Oh and when you send your feedback... We know very well that we left out KotH and that the LMotH flag is off center. We play tested LMotH to death, and since the map isn't symmetrical, putting the flag in the middle made for quite a large southern disadvantage, so we chose balance over exact center. And since we had to balance it that way, we couldn't put the KotH flag there because the south start is slightly closer. So we took out KotH altogether. Sorry! It's our first map, cut us some slack! :-)

Special thanks go out to those who spend untold hours downloading beta after beta, and then spending even more hours play-testing the map in an effort to make it something worth replaying. Props go out to Naelot, SiClops, Slixter, Severian, all the members of Prime, and a few others who downloaded the map before it was complete, but whose names slip my mind. Thanks for your help, without ya this wouldn't have been released!

Thanks for downloading our plugin btw, we really appreciate your time. Now get to b.net and test out this puppy with all your friends!! And don't forget to cast your votes over at The Mill (http://mill.bungie.org)!!

Cheers!
